Welcome to the CNX Mentorship Academy.

As a parent or guardian, you play an important role in your student's success, and we're excited to partner with you as they explore opportunities, develop new skills, and prepare for life after high school.
The Academy is designed to help students discover career pathways, build meaningful connections, and gain real-world experiences that support their future goals.

Whether your student is planning for college, a trade program, military service, or entering the workforce, the Academy provides opportunities to explore possibilities and build confidence along the way.
What is the
CNX Mentorship Academy?
The CNX Mentorship Academy connects high school students with mentors, employers, educators, and community partners who are committed to helping them prepare for what's next.

Through career exploration, leadership development, workplace experiences, networking opportunities, and mentorship, students gain exposure to industries and careers that may help shape their future.

The Academy's goal is simple: Help students explore opportunities, build connections, and develop the skills needed to succeed after graduation.
What is Fuel Your Summer?
Fuel Your Summer is the Academy's summer engagement experience.
​
Throughout the summer, students can participate in challenges, attend events, connect with Academy staff, explore career pathways, and learn more about industries that impact our region.
​
Participation is designed to be flexible, engaging, and rewarding. Students earn points by completing activities, attending events, and staying connected with the Academy community.
​
The program encourages exploration, curiosity, and meaningful engagement before the school year begins.
How Parents Can Support Participation
One of the most valuable things you can do is encourage your student to stay engaged.

Here are a few ways to help:
✔ Fill out your student's waiver
✔ Ask about weekly challenges
✔ Encourage attendance at Academy events
✔ Discuss career interests and future goals
✔ Celebrate milestones and accomplishments
